Story Plot:
The story is set in a small town in the erstwhile state of Andhra Pradesh, now part of Telangana. The year was 1995, a time when the state was under prohibition, and only toddy and arrack were legally available for drinkers. It was also a period marked by the rise of Naxalism. In this tense atmosphere, a toddy tapper named Pratap Goud rose to power. Using his wealth and political influence, he exploited the villagers.
