Story Plot:
The Road begins with a quarrelling couple who are travelling on a highway by night meeting a gory end at the hands of hardened criminals, but the murders are passed off as a road accident. So, when we learn that the film’s protagonist Meera and her family are planning to go on a road trip, we immediately begin to worry. But before her husband Anand and son Kavin can set out on the fateful trip, we have to put up with a few scenes of familial cutesiness that can make us squirm because of how fake they are.
